Live streaming a conference or event is certainly not new. Many conferences have been doing this for the better part of a decade.
What is new is the ability to live stream portions of your conference or event right from the palm of your hand via a mobile device and an app.
For the uninitiated, using Periscope, Meerkat, Facebook Live or one of the other live streaming apps might feel daunting and downright scary.
<<How does it work? What do you do?>> We don’t want to look stupid!
These are all valid questions and in the first episode of Ask Us Anything, we will dive right in. Giving you an overview, letting you know how we use these apps with “real” conferences and actual clients.
We will cover the successes…. And the failures.
We will also take your questions so that you are armed with the answers you need to make the decision to stream or not to stream.
This episode is in two parts:
- Part One: What are live streaming apps and how do conferences and events use them.
- Part Two: Your questions! (#askusanything)
